a scale is NTEP approved that means that it is approved
for
use in legal for trade applications. In other words you can charge
your
customer
based upon the weight reading of the scale.
Do
I need an NTEP approved scale?
An
NTEP scale is only needed if you are charging someone based upon the
weight
reading of the scale. If you are simply using the scale for your own
in-house
use, then you do not need an NTEP approved scale.
